Due to a signal failure on the DLR this evening, I took a diversion via Bow Road.
I noticed limited information (never more than one train) on both train describers, which are of the dot matrix type.
Is this another situation similar to Golders Green or is it a deficiency in some way related to the light panel describers at certain other stations?

What are the ones at Golders Green like!? They never display more than one train and frequently get it wrong.

In the case of Bow Road, the dot matrix indicators replaced light boxes when the station was refurbished. Until the signaling is upgraded, they will only ever be capable of showing one train at a time.
I've never been to Golders Green, but I suspect the same issue applies there....

the dot matrix at bow road gets its info from when a train leaves bromley by bow so unless you get trains up behind eachother it will only show one train as the one on the eastbound will show a train when it leaves whitechapel as the reciever there can hold about 14 trains
