There have been two failures of Bank station within the last 24 hours.
Yesterday, it seems there was a power failure affecting platforms 9 and 10 - resolved, luckily, by the time I left work.
Today, there was a reported failure of platform equipment - service was out before 7 (when I get my alert) and restored at about 8:35.
Is it just me or has Bank station become very unreliable since Tower Gateway closed?

I don't think Tower Gateway being closed has anything to do with it. Because the DLR is more reliable than LU, you notice it more when something does go wrong. Were the trains terminating at Shadwell when those failures happened?

According to the real time map during yesterday's failure, trains were terminating at Shadwell.

Yes, they were terminating at Shadwell. I boarded the first train out of Colindale and changed where it met the Jubilee Line (Waterloo as it was CX branch) then changed again at Canary Wharf. A delay at Poplar occurred, just at the time Bank reopened.

The problem this morning was a broken tunnel fan.

The problem this morning was a broken tunnel fan. And this morning too, it seems! It happened after 7 though - so I did not get an alert and ended up in a right mess! Still, I got to the office only 25 minutes actually late. I try to be 40 early if I can though.

And Again This Morning And This Afternoon - I overheard 2 PSA's Moaning that they're not likely to be fixed until tower gateway's reopened and that it would probably require a station closure

Were the trains terminating at Shadwell when those failures happened? This is something to do with tunnel ventilation fans being defective and is a Metronet 'asset'(sic)
