Have the platform lengthening works been completed then?

Platform works are 99.9% complete. As I said, seeing is believing, so treat 14 September with caution. There is always a chance we might delay this - final decision will be made on afternoon of 13 September. However we are mildly optimistic! ;D

Two more 378/2s have recently moved to Willesden for these services - 378201 from New Cross, and 378202 from Ashford. When should 378211/216 come back from Derby? They've been there a lot longer than 208/210 were.

Really? I thought the service was in total disarray today due to a failed train at Willesden Junction

4-car 378 024 seen today on the NLL. Didn't think this one had been converted yet. Of the 378/0s previously in traffic, only 008/010 (now 208/210) have returned, with 211 and 216 awaited from Derby.

Any updates on which 378/0s are next in line for the 378/2 treatment, now that the 4 cars have begun operating on the NLL?

211 has - as has 214 which went up separately.
216 has remained and has been reported as being the unit to test the 4th cars prior to being inserted.

378023 & 378024 went to Derby today. 378022 is back down as 378222 this evening, on the return leg of the above move. Saw a report of it earlier but a post on se-gen just confirmed it.

They did try to deliver 216 but it developed axle/brake fault and end up limping back to Derby on multiple skates. Its still up there I believe, not seen any reports. 003, 004, 013 should all be up at Derby for their 4th cars. That leaves 005, 006, 007, 009, 012, 015, 021 left as operational 3 cars. 234 is still a Derby after heading back a month or so ago.

378005 has headed to Derby.
378213 has come back, not sure if 203 came back or not. It went up at the same time as 013.

Has 378012 gone to Derby yet? Also, is 378234 still there? 378012 went to Derby on the 6th Jan, it was the last 3-car to go 378207 came back on the return leg 215 & 221 have returned on the 11th Jan There is 5X78 booked for Tuesday, I imagine it will be 378209 coming back as I haven't seen reports of it back yet. 234 is still up there too.

Yes, 234 seems a bit of an odd one. It was returned to Derby on October 8 and other than one or two sightings of some of its vehicles it's all gone very quiet. Pure conjecture, but it may have replaced 216 which was the original 4th car testing unit but one would imagine that with (presumably) 209 returning to WN tomorrow, and 012 now at Derby, any testing requirement would have ceased with the completion of the lengthening exercise. No doubt we shall find out soon enough, unless anybody can enlighten us?

So all the 378's have been augmented to 4 car! Only 378234 & the three unfinished units remain

Couple of questions.
Whereabouts is 378234? I don't think I've ever seen it on the NLL. Wikipedia (which is clearly out of date) says 232 and 233 are on the ELL which is correct, so is 234 also on there?
Secondly, any idea when 378255-257 are due to be completed and delivered?

It returned to Derby from Ashford last October and is still at Litchurch Lane, where it has been sighted reliably by various people. Reports elsewhere suggest that 378255-257 will appear after NXEA's Class 379s are completed - so that should be in the next couple of months given progress thus far on the 379s.
