What all night ?? Can they do so ? I certainly hope no T/Op's work overtime or do agree to any sneaky deals to make this happen !! Why not? Wouldn't they be helping out the public at a time of need?

For the first time in weeks there was a 378 at the correct stop at NXG this morning rather than the usual shunt position - defintely was not in passenger service however. Platform display is still not illuminated either.

Stockwell is the only one where the lines cross? Others either share or are adjacent.

Is platform 1 at NXG ever going to get a PIS to show the ELL services? I think the original one from the ELL is still there - I assume they're just continuing to use those. I double checked this morning - it's definitely there, just not powered on.

I'm sure I've seen Southeastern 375s going through London Bridge with Pantographs (down obviously).

As can be seen at Watford, Northwood, Northwood Hills, Pinner and North Harrow. All that's shown is the line and direction and has been for a number of years. One assumes this is awaiting the new signalling system.

Had the same on the Northern line on Sunday evening. A very well spoken driver giving the full run down on closures on the approach to every interchange station.

Noticed yesterday for the first time that 378s at 'New Cross Gate' are now displaying Dalston Junction on their destinations rather than 'London Overground'. It all looks to be coming together nicely.

Spare a thought for those living near Canada Water trying to go to Canary Wharf - no Jubilee or ELL, or replacement bus service. Only the VERY expensive Thames Clippers.

Another consideration is that the class 172s are 23m coaches, so will need an extra 6m of platform for a 3 car units than the equivalent 20m unit. Or 9m even! ;D

Saw 378145/146 on what appeared to be a delivery run in the company of an exDRS Class 66 and a Porterbrook barrier wagon parked in Platform 13 at London Bridge - all powered down. 378137 was moving about the yard at New Cross Gate and 378143 had dissappeared from its long time stabled area at the depot.

Capital 95.8 said that Moorgate was closed due to malfunctioning escalators and that all trains were terminating at Old Street.

378004 was running out by New Cross Gate station this morning (0840) - the first time I've noticed one testing around the yard.

Geesh I'm surprised there hasn't been a strike over this ! Same here, that is disgusting. And to think all those years I worked in Argos on the collection point - I didn't realise it was unsafe to stand during a shift.

I see ... TBH I'm surprised there were 5 days at weekends left free before the end of the year based on how many shutdowns it's been recently. If they really do go into 2010 then I for one will be mad. We were sold the line about needing the extra work in order to be finished on time and yet they still failed.

I believe it's intended to be a "big bang"tripcock operation 24th December-TBTC 29th December. Good news! - is that ATP+ATO or only ATP?

Although some class 378/1s will be needed for testing the ELL, most don't have to be delivered before next summer. Isn't the old section scheduled for January opening with it extended to Croydon in June? I thought the Summer 2010 headline was a contingency only.

Some of the Met Line enamel diagrams at stations show stations non-stopped as do the car line diagrams I believe? Correct, however the question was specifically about the "tube map" which is all encompassing.

For your next challenge, how's it going to be shown on the "Tube Map"? You wouldn't show it, in the same way that the Met shows all stations.

I've noticed in the past few weeks that on Route 381 iBus generally is out of use. The behaviour is consistent on every bus. A blank display save for 2 orange lights.
Are the drivers causing this by turning the system off? Is it a fail safe?
The other question is why, when the system is like this, does the "Bus stopping" message not work when the bell is pressed?
Thanks
