Is it looking south towards Ealing Common depot? (Along the road that goes down the side of Ealing Common station).

Apologies - I saw the train in B and thought it was D stock. It is A stock so that won't be be District line.
I'd better book myself in for an eye test if I can't tell the difference between those two stocks.

Hum...
B is on the District Line - probably in south or west London. C might be Goerge V D reminds me of Greenford.
Is the link that all the stations have served temporarily as a terminus?

It looks like a good list.
Historically, the District Railway also connected to the LSWR at Turnham Green, as the line from there towards Acton left the LSWR line that the District had joined at Studland Road. Was there a connection at South Acton? Also there were connections from the Metropolitan Railway at Aylesbury towards Princes Risborough and at Quainton Road on the GCR and near Latimer Road/Uxbridge Road. Was there a connection at Verney Junction? Technically the Piccadilly Line partially runs on LSWR right of way from Studland Junction to Turnham Green.

It can't be Walthamstow or Hounslow or Heathrow. How about Bromley-by-Bow?

Manor House? A fairly alarming question, as most of us ought to be able to tell the difference between a human and a dwelling.

The American owner of a nearby department store wanted the station to be renamed after the store - Selfridges.
Hence there is an American connection.

I used to belong to the Croydon Tramlink yahoo group. I don't know if it is still going - I unsubscribed about a year ago as I was getting too busy to read it properly. Perhaps this forum does not need to duplicate it.

I remember the mini-meet. I think we managed to scare off a forum member who was alarmed by custard being displayed in broad daylight.
The main picture is intriguing. The cabinet with bits and bobs on confuses me, as it suggests that it might not be in a public area - however, I presume that it is in a public place. Somewhere like Chesham?

I had an Irish great aunt who wanted to visit Loughton, which to use the Scottish spelling, she pronounced as Loch Tonn. I've also heard Theydon Bois, with the Bois pronounced the French way.

I also think Southampton Row, just south of the northern entrance to the tram tunnel. Is it something to do with the date that the tunnel was opened, enlarged or closed?
