That's where the bench was. The carr I was on last Sunday stopped right opposite this bench and I remember looking at it thinking that it didn't look very comfortable.

It rings two bells with me...either somewhere on the Hainault Loop, or somewhere at the northern end of the Met Line. I'm going for, at a guess, Grange Hill or Chigwell. That's exactly the two kinds of location that I had in my mind. I'd go for the Hainault loop really as i was there last week trying to kill time on a Sunday!

I recognise this, but for the life of me I can't think where it is. The rest of the picture is the Royal Border Bridge at Berwick-Upon-Tweed. (Will be going over that next month behind a deltic)

Unless somebody has done a bit of photoshopping on this one I wouldn't think it's Upminster (ready to be proved wrong) as I can't see any OHLE for the Romford Branch. Beyond that I have no idea at all.
Adding an extra bit here, but is that a footbridge or a walkway to link somewhere from somewhere else. Can't quite make it out because of the angle.

Defo Highgate. If you zoom in on the large version, the roundall on the r/h side tells you so.

Bottom of the stairs?? When I went through there a couple of weeks ago, Queensbury station was on an embankment? Has somebody moved it down a bit?

It could also be Queensbury as that has a bridge too.

Somewhere on the vic would be my guess. I'm not very observant, but should a Hovertravel Hovercraft (Solent Express? at Ryde) be behind the grill?

If it is and I'm not saying it is, that would account for that reflection in the window of the cab. Doesn't Ryde Pier Head have a corragated (excuse the spelling!) iron sheet thing between there and the old tramway up the Pier?
Mind you, so does St. Johns Road come to think of it! Ah well, back to the drawing board

It probably isn't, but I've just been hit by a flash of inspiration. The train is completely dark in terms of livery. It's not the first one on the Isle of Wight is it? I have a feeling I'm a long way off the mark, but you never know!

It's probably just an optical illusion, but the drivers window and the next door appears to have strips down it. So does that mean that it's wartime and this was only half of a normal seven car unit or something? Of course, it could be an optical illusion!!

My initial thought was Epping at the West End of the station. But that was at six this morning and my mind wasn't really working.

The background will probably be the North York Moors if it has a summersault signal. Leivsham?

I would have said its down the southern end of the Northern line somewhere as they have the green tiles. Not sure which one, but I'll take a guess at Tooting Bec

Is that the old bay platform at Acton Town? As for the extra's. That looks suspiciously like the Llangollen to me. The lifeboat I'm not sure about though, but we have lots of yachts..Cowes?

No idea where it is, but the tiles look very clean and new. So Regents Park?
