Class 313s replaced the 2 EPBs in 1989. They came from the Great Northern routes.

That’s it.
At 1900hrs this evening for example, eight trains were cancelled due to a driver not being available.

On LU the best known example that comes immediately to mind would have been Barbican, although I forget the name. That was Pebbles. There’s a plaque to Pebbles in the ticket hall. Back in the day, some stations had cats for obvious reasons. They were excellent at pest control. At some locations, there was even an allowance for cat food.

The structure is a noise barrier and is related to a noise trial they are doing.

It’s Clapton Junction, just after the River Lee/Lea. So stations wise, it’s between Clapton and St James’ Street or Clapton and Tottenham Hale. I had many happy times watching the trains here from the Hill in Springfield Park when I was a kid.

It seems the first Transplant engineering train made it’s way from Kennington to Battersea station either Sunday evening or yesterday, following completion of trackworks. Sunday night, L51 was one of the locos.

When I worked at Camden Town Station 15 years ago, they trialled this concept. The only issue was at the bottom of the spiral staircase and the corridors to the platforms, with people stopping and congregating, Deploying Staff to these areas to move the flow along helped cure the issue.

Why did Chilterns trains stop serving Moooor Park? Speed up the service, and also the locals complained about the 115s being noisy when they departed.

It says on the 26-30 railcard page, you can get discounted off peak pay as you go fares. Therefore approach a member of staff, show them the digital railcard and they’ll put it onto your oyster.

Then there were also rumours in the rail media about "software" issues affecting Aventra software used on the 710 models and also their sister 345s trains? However if software is still is the cause of these delays, surely the desire to get paid would provide ample incentive for Bombardier to recruit sufficient additional software expertise to ensure the software was quickly fixed. Indeed it now seems the software being used on the basically similar 345s has somehow been approved for use and they are now operational The 345s and 710s have different software.

They are tested regularly. Normally on a rotating basis, so over the course of a week, they all get done. Some stations only have a few, others have many. I haven’t tested it to the control centre. If a help point isn’t working, we get an alert on our system in the office. The fault can then be escalated to get it repaired.

According to the station logbook, the station was unstaffed from 1900-2300. Earlier in the day it was unstaffed from 1200-1230 so the supervisor could have their break.
In terms of help points, the info button should be getting diverted to the line control centre, in this case, Wood Lane.

I’ve only just seen this thread. I’ve read the Station logbook for South Kensington. it says that Gate 41 has a faulty paddle which has had a repair job raised in consequence.
