A - Brixton

'A' looks very Vic line with all that unistrut ironwork, slab paving and really straight platform but could be almost anywhere except Finsbury Park, first thought is Euston but it's been a few years since I've seen the Vic!
'B' looks like Picc Circus but I don't think it is.
I can't place 'C' those tiles just aren't familiar.
'D' has me foxed as well

That will most likely because D is the canopy over subway entrance at Vauxhall.

Is the link something to do with National Rail connections? (PM sent with more detail, as one of the unidentified pics is mine)

B Moorgate? C Elephant and Castle?
And that would fit the NR link as well

B Moorgate? C Elephant and Castle? And that would fit the NR link as well Neither B or C are Moorgate or Elephant and Castle. The PM was sent to me, and the guess wasn't correct. The link isn't directly related to NR.

Must be out of station interchanges with NR then. B looks fairly new - Shepherds Bush? A guess for C - Balham?

All of the stations have a connection to Network Rail, but it involves a trek?

Interchanges are relevant, but it isn't that they're all a walk from NR.
B and C are not Shepherd's Bush or Balham

Hmmm, they're all interchanges only with Network Rail (though Vauxhall does have the bus station); they don't interchange with any other UndergrounD line.

they don't interchange with any other UndergrounD line. That's part of the answer, but why these four stations?

That's part of the answer, but why these four stations? I only know what three of them are!

Is B Southwark, with the link being all stations are south of the river?

B is not Southwark - both it and station C are north of the River.
