Not sure about 3067 / 3039, but I did see 3003 / 3062 on train 245 (I think that was its running number) on Friday afternoon, I rode on it from Finsbury Park to Highbury & Islington.

This is with regard to the new system. When non-stopping through a station that is closed (or not booked to stop at, empty stock etc), will the trains still have to come to a stop and restart as is the case with the existing system or will they be able to pass through at reduced speed?

Not quite to Epping, but the Epping Ongar Railway goes as far as Coopersale Halt (although there isn't a station there), which is the boundary with London Underground.

Went on the Jubbly today, Baker Street to St. Johns Wood and back, I also agree that there is a noticeable increase in speed in both directions!
Slightly off topic, but any idea what happened to train 302 this afternoon? Came into St. Johns Wood southbound about 2 hours ago, stopped halfway into the platform for about 30 seconds before carrying on up to the headwall and opening its doors. There was no obstruction on the line as far as I am aware.

Was that empty stock or was it in service?

Just a couple of quick questions about route knowledge on the parallel section, do Met drivers still sign the local from Wembley Park to Finchley Road and do Jubilee drivers sign the fast?
Also when was the last time that a Met used the local / Jubilee used the fast in or out of service?

Those are indeed from the Jubilee line, they are 1983 stock cars. Not sure about the numbers or what is going to happen with them though, I didn't realise they were still there, last time I went through South Harrow was about two years ago.

Most likely yes.

If it can't be used for passengers, I reckon it would come in useful as a test track like the eastbound local at South Ealing, and as the tunnels are mainline height pretty much any stock could use it, deep level or SSL. Though a connection would have to be put in around Farringdon or Barbican.

Was anyone here on the 9:30 tour this morning? I was the one hobbling down the stairs with me plaster.

I'm planning to write a new timetable for the new Wembley Suburban Simsig that has just been released with the scenario being that the Bakerloo is shut Queen's Park to Paddington, with trains reversing at Kilburn High Road.
What I need to know is the following:
The rough frequency for Bakerloo services on a Sunday from Harrow & Wealdstone to Queen's Park in both directions, using the outer platforms at QPW and reversing out of service at KHR, and how many of these per hour would reverse at Willesden Junction, Stonebridge Park or Wembley Central.
Do the train numbers remain the same unit all day (as in train 201, 202 etc), or do they change like NR services (for example 5K02 becomes 2H03 etc)?
Any help would be much appreciated and thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Just got back from the LTM, got a ticket for the 09:30 tour on Friday, there are about 35 tickets left as of 10:30 this morning. Saturday and Sunday are completely sold out.

Does anyone know how much it actually costs in track access charges per train for Chiltern to use LUL metals?

Ah it might have been 4116 then, I did only see the number briefly as I was doing 70 in the other direction!

Saw 4176 going north on the M1 this afternoon, it was stuck in traffic just beyond Newport Pagnell services, I was going south at the time.

Paul,
I believe that one 1959 stock unit (can't remember which number) had a trial refurbishment and was painted in Corporate livery.

The final departure did not stop at Barbican, however the arrival into Moorgate did as usual as it is only served in the eastbound direction.
To answer the question above - the train was meant to be an ECS move but due to enthusiast demand, it ran as an extra passenger service calling at all stations except Barbican to Kentish Town.
Barbican platform 4 is still accessible via steps but is gated off so there is no public access to it, and from what I've been told not even station staff are allowed down there.
EDIT - I meant to put eastbound, not westbound!

Not sure if this has been mentioned already on here.
You may be aware that the Network Rail platforms at Farringdon are being extended to the south, therefore resulting in the short branch to Barbican and Moorgate being severed and closed permanently next month. Do LUL have any plans to utilise any of the vacated branch?

I know on other lines, the trainstops would be pegged in order to perform a Wrong Direction Move, but what needs to be done to do a WDM on the Victoria (saw from Finsbury Park to Highbury), as there could be issues with ATO?

I assume this is subject to the usual caveats (run early/not at all etc)?

TRC666 was also at the S stock mockup today! Isn't too bad, had a quick look at it about lunchtime. It's open until 7 tonight but it's the last opportunity to see it as the exhibition closes today. Oh, and good pics by the way

Yesterday on my way to work, I noticed a set of points being constructed on the GOBLIN approach to Barking seemingly aimed towards platform 2, is there a plan to connect NR to the District here?

It won't need the Northern at all. Just needs the facing connection at Finsbury Park and a reverse at Acton Town.
Going back on topic, Euston reversers (from Kings Cross) still occasionally do it in service (i.e. not tipping out at KX first), I have been on such a train, passengers can be carried through the Euston loop.

I was on the diverted NLL yesterday. They were indeed going via Primrose Hill, train I was on actually stopped there too (but obviously didn't open the doors). Train also ran non-stop from Camden Road to Queen's Park, going over the Kilburn High Road crossover on the return journey so a bit of a track bash there too.
Why don't the diverted NLL services call at South Hampstead and Kilburn High Road?

You can reverse at the following intermediate locations on the Victoria.
SEVEN SISTERS Shunt via 62/63 road or reverse within Northumberland Park Depot. As mentioned earlier in the thread.
HIGHBURY Trailing crossover north of the station. Trains either reverse directly off the southbound platform to go towards Walthamstow, or do a shunt out of service from north to south to go towards Brixton.
KING'S CROSS Reversing siding north of the station.
WARREN STREET Trailing crossover north of the station. Rarely used.
VICTORIA Trailing crossover north of the station. Reversing sidings south of the station.

One of my pet hates is couples who decide that the top of an escalator or right in the doorway of a train is the best place to stop and have a snog during rush hour.

You hit the nail on the head there. 67 stock would just have the tripcocks fitted if it were to go to the Bakerloo or IOW or whatever.
